The Yellow-throated Babbler is a gregarious bird. In late March every year, it will appear in groups at the breeding ground, lay eggs, raise young birds, and then migrate as a whole family. Most of the habitats chosen are evergreen broad-leaved forests. The nests are usually built on large trees with lush foliage, and are built high, with the lowest point being more than 5 meters above the ground. One pair nests, and each pair only hatches once a year. It takes more than 10 days to hatch, usually 2 to 4. After two weeks, the little yellow-throated babblers can look for food on their own. The lifespan of the yellow-throated babbler is ten years.
