A bowl of water.
When you are preparing to braise rice, wash a bowl of rice and put it into the electric pressure cooker, then add a bowl of water to make sure the ratio of rice to water is exactly 1:1. This ratio is slightly less than the amount of water required for stewing rice in a traditional rice cooker. Next, turn off the electric pressure cooker and start the cooking process.
When the electric pressure cooker automatically cuts off the power, do not rush to open the lid. Unplug the power and let the rice sit in the pot for ten minutes. This will allow the rice to absorb the residual heat better, making it more fluffy and delicious.
