School profile
Tongling College is an application-oriented undergraduate college with distinctive financial characteristics, focusing on management and economy, and coordinating the development of engineering, literature, science, art and law. Its predecessor was Tongling Institute of Finance and Economics. In 2000, it merged with Anhui Metallurgical Industry School and Tongling Normal School, and was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college in 2002. The school is the first batch of demonstration application-oriented undergraduate colleges in Anhui Province. In 20 15, it was approved as a local application-oriented high-level university project construction unit in Anhui province. On May 20 18, it successfully passed the examination and evaluation of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education, and on September 20 19, it was approved as the construction unit of the master's degree program in Anhui Province.
