Causes of rotten fins: (1) Unreasonable water change: In the weather with insufficient sunshine, the goldfish pond changed water too frequently, which seriously stimulated the endocrine function of goldfish body surface cells and led to the soft tissue rot of the caudal fin. (2) Not changing water in time: Due to the aging water quality and strong illumination, all fin membranes are covered with bubbles, and the water is not changed in time, which leads to the rupture and rot of each fin membrane and bacterial infection. In midsummer, this phenomenon is especially obvious for big-tailed goldfish and young fish. (3) Poor water quality: The main reason is that the pH of the water quality has changed dramatically, and the fish body is not adapted, resulting in endocrine disorder, which leads to the soft tissue decay of each fin over time and finally infected by bacteria. Symptoms: The fin edge of the diseased fish is milky white, and then decays, resulting in fin insufficiency, especially the caudal fin. Sometimes the fin will become broom-shaped, and in severe cases, the entire caudal fin will rot and eventually be infected by bacteria. Epidemic period: the disease mostly occurs in Huangmei, midsummer and Mid-Autumn Festival, especially in big goldfish or fry. Prevention and treatment: a, reasonable water replacement: timely and reasonable replacement or adjustment of poor water quality can effectively inhibit the occurrence and spread of this disease. B, soaking or spraying: ① Dissolve 1g furacilin or furazolidone in 10kg water for 20min, or spray at a low concentration, which can inhibit the spread of diseases and gradually restore the growth and development of each fin. ② Putting 50g of fine salt in every cubic meter of water for 2~3 times can play the role of sterilization. ③ Spraying 0.0 1% potassium permanganate solution can effectively inhibit the spread of the disease. C. Careful feeding: The water temperature is constant above 20℃. After 40 days of careful feeding, the rotten soft tissue of each fin can grow and develop completely. During this period, it is necessary to feed more animal bait fish and worms to promote the growth of caudal fin.
