Translation of the ancient Chinese text "Niujiao Guashu"
(Shi Mi) Riding an ox on a saddle made of cattail, hanging a roll of Hanshu on the horn, and walking and reading. Yang Su, the Duke of Yue, happened to see it on the road and followed him slowly, asking, "Where are the scholars so diligent?" Shi Biao knew Yang Su and came down from the cow's back to pay homage. Yang Su asked him what he was reading, and he replied, "Biography of Xiang Yu." Yang Su talked with him and was surprised. After returning home, he said to his son Yang Xuangan, "I think Shi Mi's insight is beyond your comparison." Therefore, Xuangan fell in love with Shi Biao. . This matter was passed down as a much-told story.
