Xiaochi is a seven-character quatrain written by Yang Wanli, a poet in the Song Dynasty.

The spring eyes are silent and cherish the trickle, and the shade of the tree shines on the water and loves to be fine and soft.
Xiao-he just showed his sharp horns, and dragonflies stood on it long ago.
Translation:
The spring is silent because it can't bear the thin water flow, and the shade of trees reflects the water surface because it loves the softness of sunny days and wind.
As soon as the delicate little lotus leaf emerged from the water, a naughty little dragonfly stood on it.

Yang Wanli (October 29, 1127-June 15, 126), whose name was Ting Xiu, was Cheng Zhai. Jiangyou people of Han nationality. Jishui, Jizhou (now Qiutang Village, huangqiao town, Jishui County, Jiangxi Province).
