1, soaking seeds to accelerate germination
Before planting eggplant, the seeds should be soaked in potassium permanganate diluted medicine for half an hour, then taken out and washed repeatedly with clear water. After washing the medicine, soak it in 55℃ hot water 15 minutes. Finally, it should be wrapped in a wet cloth and placed in an environment of 30 degrees to accelerate germination.
2. Sowing and planting
When planting eggplant, fill the seedling tray with 10 cm of seedling soil, compact it, pat it flat, then water it, then sow it in the seedling tray, cover it with thin soil, and then cover it with film. After the seedlings grow out, they can be taken out of the seedling tray and transplanted to sunny fields.
3. Tian Tuan management
After planting for 3 days, water the eggplant once to make the plant better adapt to the environment, and then apply urea to the soil every other month, with a fertilization amount of 20 kg per mu. After the eggplant grows mature, it is necessary to cut off the outer branches and keep the upward branches to promote the vigorous growth of the plant.
4, hanging vines pruning
Eggplant needs pruning in time. Generally, an eggplant plant only needs to keep three strong branches, and the extra branches must be removed in time, and the length of the branches should not exceed 8 cm. When the eggplant plant grows to half a meter, it must be hung in time. If the vine is hung too late, it will easily lead to the bending growth of plants, affect the photosynthesis of leaves and reduce the yield of eggplant.
5. Disease control
Eggplant is prone to verticillium wilt in the growth process, which leads to yellowing and wilting of branches and leaves, and even death in severe cases. In order to prevent verticillium wilt, seeds should be soaked in cold water for 3 hours before sowing, then scalded with hot water at 55℃ 15 minutes to improve disease resistance, and mycorrhizal pesticides should be diluted with water after sowing.
