Generally Yancheng gets a little bit of snow in winter, but if you come here, you won't necessarily meet it. Yancheng is relatively cold, winter outdoor is usually around zero degrees, the coldest days can reach minus ten degrees. But for people from the northeast, it seems like the temperature is not too low, but people from the north who come here are still too cold to stand, and find it much colder than the northeast.

Dongtai Middle School is in the city of Dongtai, one of the wealthier county-level cities in Yancheng's jurisdiction, which is about 70 kilometers from Yancheng.

I can't tell you what's good to eat in Yancheng, with specialties such as drunken crabs and drunken snails. When you come to Yancheng, you can buy some crabs from Dazhong Lake to eat, the flavor is not worse than that of Yangcheng Lake, and it is cheaper, so you can eat 5 or 6 at a meal. However, if you come in January, it is estimated that the crabs are basically off the market, not very fat.

Dongtai has a specialty meal: noodles in fish soup. But I think the taste is just average. You can try it once, it's not expensive, just a few dollars a bowl.

It's better not to go to the beach in winter. The beach in Yancheng is basically an endless mudflat, and the cold wind can be unbearable. If you come in summer, you can still enjoy the pristine Yellow Sea coast.

From the airport, take bus 15 to the city center (Yancheng Shopping Mall), then find a bus stop at any bus station, find a bus line to Xinke Station, such as 26, 4, etc., and get off at Xinke Station, then buy a ticket to Dongtai, which is about 20 minutes away.

Or of course, you can take a taxi from the airport to the new passenger station, the cab in Yancheng starts at 5 yuan, and jumps the word after 2 kilometers, so it's about a dozen or so yuan from the airport to the new passenger station.
