There are several fingerings of cucurbit silk. Common drum sounds are bass 5 (that is, when all sound holes are closed, the sound made by playing cucurbit is bass 5) and drum sounds are 1 (that is, when all sound holes are closed, the sound made by playing cucurbit is 1), which is artificially stipulated.
Therefore, different fingering methods, on the same cucurbit silk, have different sounds corresponding to sound holes.
