Konjac is a big family, with nearly 130 varieties in the world, while there are more than 30 varieties in China, 8 of which are endemic to China.
In terms of output and scale, konjac is mainly distributed in China, Japan, Myanmar, Viet Nam, Indonesia and other countries. It is widely cultivated in China, Yunnan, Sichuan and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
