A large number of wild black truffles have recently been found on the hills of Yingluo town in Haicheng, Liaoning province. A large number of people went up to the mountain to dig, and it is said that one person can dig 20 or 30 kilograms a day. The local purchase price of one kilogram is 300 dollars, a person a day probably able to dig 3,000 ~ 4,000 more than money. The foot of the mountain simple highway side, heard the car line up a long line.
But the mountain has become pitted with black truffles, and the local government hasn't stopped the practice, though it will be unsustainable in the long run.
Foreign countries dig for truffles, searching for them through truffle dogs or pigs, and restoring the soil cover after digging so that they will be there again the next year.
China has a short history of discovering black truffles:
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, black truffles were discovered in Huidong County, Sichuan Province, during a survey of wild mushroom resources.
Because Huidong County is next to Yunnan, which is a large province of fungus, so follow this clue to find, and the result is that a large number of black truffles have been found in Yunnan, which is currently the province that produces the most black truffles in China. In the beginning, black truffles were mainly produced in France, and due to the large number of Chinese black truffles on the market, the price of black truffles has been lowered to 1/10th of its original price.
Black truffles are actually a kind of tuberous fungus, similar to Poria cocos, which is usually used as a condiment with high-grade ingredients in Western cuisine. Black truffles have been consumed in the West for more than 2,000 years, but their value has rarely been exploited in Chinese recipes.
