Soy sauce (2 tbsp), dark soy sauce (2 tbsp), cloves (2 pcs), star anise (1 pc), five spice powder (1 tbsp), tea bags (1), water (3 cups), salt (1.5 tsp), rock sugar (2 tbsp).
How to make
1. Prepare all ingredients.
2: Place 20 quail eggs in a saucepan, add cold water to cover the eggs, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then simmer over medium-low heat for 8 minutes.
3. Fish out the boiled eggs and dip them in cold water, peel off the shells, and poke 20 small holes in each egg with a toothpick.
4: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and add the eggs.
5: Next, bring the quail eggs to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 20 minutes.
