Since it's a birthday, you should cook some dishes that you usually like. If you cook very well, then a big meal is not a problem. If you seldom cook, cook something simple and delicious.
Personal recommendation:
Before the meal (before the main course is served): cold cowpea, stir-fried lotus root, fish-flavored eggplant seeds and cold fungus.
Main dishes: shredded hot and sour potatoes, shredded green pepper, Mapo tofu, pine nut fish, sweet and sour pork ribs, lettuce in oyster sauce.
