How to keep hairy crabs fresh and survive in the refrigerator
Hairy crabs can be kept alive and fresh in the following ways:

1, bathtub/sink in captivity. You can use a bathtub at home, a deep sink or a large and deep plastic bucket. First, gently pick up the hairy crabs in a bathtub and other containers, and put them in clean water. It is recommended to dry the tap water for 2 hours in advance, so as to remove the bacteria from the tap water. (If the room temperature exceeds 20, it is not recommended to store it like this.)

2, plastic barrels/pots in captivity, use tall plastic barrels or pots, and then gently put the hairy crabs in them and lay them flat, being careful not to let the crabs stack. Then add water to half the height of the hairy crabs, and remember that the water depth can't pass all the hairy crabs. Buckets and pots must be kept in a ventilated and cool place without being covered, so that hairy crabs can be stored for more than 5 days. (If the room temperature exceeds 20, it is not recommended to store it like this.)

3. Preservation in the refrigerator: select the hairy crabs with vigorous vitality, bind their feet to reduce their physical consumption, and then put the hairy crabs in the freezer of the refrigerator, keeping the temperature at 5 degrees-10 degrees. Finally, cover the crab with a wet towel for preservation, so as to maintain proper humidity, which can generally be placed for three to five days.
