Introduction: Hailuogou Glacier is a solid silver world, and the creator has created glacier wonders such as ice caves, ice mushrooms, ice towers and ice cracks. Glaciers are also called "green glaciers" because they extend from below the black pine forest to the virgin forest for 6KM. On the glacier, your hands are not cold and your feet are not stiff. You can float gravel on the ice and roam this mysterious silver world.
Features: Hailuogou is also the "hometown of hot springs". The water temperature is 40-60℃, and tourists can soak in hot springs at the small pier here. The annual average temperature in Hailuogou is 10- 15℃, and the lowest temperature in winter is -2-5℃, which is known as "four seasons in one day, different days in ten miles". Xuecheng Hot Spring in Hailuogou is a large-flow hot mineral spring with a daily flow of 8,900 tons. The hot springs are located at an altitude of 2600M, 1900M and 1500M, respectively, and the highest temperature at the outlet is 92 degrees.
Equipment: Because the glacier is slippery, it is best to wear hiking shoes, sunglasses, sun hat and kettle. It's still cold in summer, so be sure to wear a windproof coat. Please be prepared for cold in other seasons. It's best to prepare 1 day dry food and instant noodles, and it's best to bring instant rice (boiled water in mountain hotels), beef jerky, chocolate, ham sausage, mustard tuber, milk and so on. Because the food on the mountain is very expensive, a plate of fried pork slices 16 yuan and a bowl of vegetable soup 8 yuan.
Traffic route: this is the key point I want to introduce. There are two roads leading to Hailuogou, namely National Highway 3 18 and National Highway 108, which are in good condition. The following three tourist routes to Hailuogou are available.
Line 1: From Chengdu via Chengdu-Chengya Expressway (via Shuangliu, Xinjin, Qionglai, Mingshan and Ya 'an), crossing Tianquan and Erlangshan Tunnel to Hailuogou Scenic Area, with a total length of about 280 kilometers and a journey of about 6-8 hours;
Line 2: From Chengdu via Chengya Expressway (via Shuangliu, Xinjin, Qionglai, Mingshan and Ya 'an), it passes through Mudan, Hanyuan and Shimian County, with a total length of 468 kilometers, and it takes about 12 hours to reach Hailuogou Scenic Area;
Route 3: From Chengdu via Dujiangyan, Wolong Nature Reserve, Xiaojin County, Danba County and Luding County, it takes two days to reach Hailuogou, with a total length of 750 kilometers. The advantage is that you can visit Siguniang Mountain first, cross Xiaojin County, go down the Xiaojin River to Danba County, and enjoy the towers, Tibetan villages, Muldor Mountain in Danba County, and of course, the famous beauty of Danba in China.
