(1) Insect repellent regularly. In epidemic areas or areas with a history of Fasciola hepatica, 1 deworming is carried out in spring and autumn every year. Commonly used drugs include salicylamide iodide, nitrochlorophenol, albendazole, pentachlorosalicylamide, dithiodichlorophenol, carbon tetrachloride and so on. Dosage and usage of various drugs are as follows:
(1) iodoether salicylamide. It is effective for adults and immature Fasciola hepatica over 6 weeks old 12 weeks old. The oral dose was 7.5 mg/kg body weight.
② Nitrocochlorophenol. This is very effective in repelling adults. The oral dosage is 4 ~ 5 mg per kg body weight.
③ Albendazole. It has a good repellent effect on Fasciola hepatica adults, and the oral dose is 5 ~ 15 mg per kilogram of body weight.
④ Pentachlorosalicylamide. It has repellent effect on adults, and the oral dose is per kilogram of body weight 15 mg.
⑤ Thio-dichlorophenol. It is effective to repel adults, but it has a strong purgative effect. The oral dose is 80 ~ 100 mg per kg body weight.
⑥ Carbon tetrachloride. It can effectively drive away adults. The oral dosage is 2ml per adult sheep, 6 ~ 12-month-old sheep 1ml, and mixed with liquid paraffin at the ratio of 1: 4. It can also be mixed with the same dose of liquid paraffin at the ratio of 1: 1 and injected intramuscularly.
(2) Fermentation treatment of feces. The manure in the sheepfold should be piled up and fermented in time, especially the manure that has been deworming should be treated seriously.
(3) Eliminate intermediate hosts. Combined with soil and water improvement project or with 1∶50000 copper sulfate solution, the intermediate host of Fasciola hepatica was killed by leaching or spraying.
(4) Treating sick sheep with the above medicines.
