When the water temperature rises above 8℃ in spring, snakehead often moves in the middle and upper water. When the water temperature drops below 6℃ in autumn, it swims slowly and often lurks in the depths of water; When the water temperature is too low in winter, it stays at the bottom of the water.

The lateral line is complete, and there is a bend behind the pectoral fin. There are many pores on the top of the head, and there are many big fish. Body color: the back is gray-green, the abdomen is gray, and there are obvious black stripes arranged in a figure of eight on the side. There are three pairs of stripes protruding backwards on the head.
