Adenomyosis is a common gynecological disease in clinic, which often manifests as dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, uterus enlargement and other symptoms. Patients with adenomyosis generally have cold constitution, blood stasis and poor qi and blood, so the treatment of this disease needs to promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis, warm meridians and dispel cold. Moxibustion is to eliminate old blood clots in the body by stimulating acupoints, so that there will be no swelling pain in the lower abdomen, dysmenorrhea will be alleviated, and immunity will be enhanced. Long-term adherence to moxibustion can control adenomyosis and enhance physical fitness.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that adenomyosis begins with uterine cold and is related to internal resistance of blood stasis. Its pathogenesis can be simply summarized as: qi stagnation, cold coagulation, phlegm-dampness accumulation → blood stasis blocking chong and ren, uterus → menstrual disorder → dysmenorrhea. In other words, the uterus is located in the perineum of women's lower abdomen, where the Yin meridians are entangled and Yin Qi meets. It is the weakest part of yang in the body. If you don't nurse properly, the evil of cold and dampness will take advantage of it. When qi stagnation, cold coagulation, phlegm-dampness and other pathogenic factors reside in the uterus, qi and blood will condense when they meet cold, forming blood stasis, which is the evil of yin and cold, blocking chong and ren, the uterus, hurting the whole lower energizer, leading to irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea.
