Jingzhou Polytechnic Vocational College is a junior college. Jingzhou Polytechnic Vocational College is a secondary vocational education college, belonging to the full-time colleges and universities organized by the People's Government of Hubei Province. The college was founded in 1978, formerly known as Jingzhou Health School, and after many adjustments and reforms, it was upgraded to Jingzhou Polytechnic Vocational College in 2011, and has now developed into a secondary vocational education college that focuses on engineering, and the six disciplines of engineering, management, literature, science, law, and arts are complementary to each other and develop in a coordinated manner. The college now has several levels of education, such as specialist and undergraduate, and offers a number of specialties, such as medicine, engineering, management, culture and art, economy and trade, and information technology.
