West Lake Longjing Tea Grade Standard
The grading standards of West Lake Longjing tea are mainly divided into the following five grades:

First-class: light green color, wide and even tea strips, exposed buds, high-definition aroma, fresh and mellow taste, light green and bright leaves, with a bud content of 7-8g per 500g of tea, small planting area, outstanding quality and high cost performance, which can be drunk for many times.

Second-class: the color is green, the tea leaves are slender, the aroma is rich and lasting, the taste is refreshing and mellow, the leaves are soft and even, and the bud content in every 500g of tea leaves reaches 6-7g.

Third-class: the color is bluish yellow, the tea leaves are tall and straight, the buds are not obvious, the aroma is fresh, the taste is mellow, the leaves are green and bright, and the bud content in every 500g of tea leaves reaches 5-6g.

Grade 4: light yellow color, slightly curved tea strips, invisible buds, light aroma, balanced taste and uneven yellow-green leaves. The content of buds in every 500 grams of tea reaches 4-5 grams.

Grade 5: uneven yellow-green color, uneven distribution, irregular tea strips, light aroma and taste, messy leaf bottom, and the bud content per 500g of tea is less than 4 g.
