The easy way to make your own hawthorn strips.
Ingredients: 2 kg of hawthorn, about 500 grams of sugar, 750 grams of water, 2-3 grams of agar (a small handful). Practice: 1, 2 kg of hawthorn, about 500 grams of sugar (if rock sugar is better, use sugar instead), 750 grams of water, about 2-3 grams of agar (a pinch). The hawthorn is cut horizontally with a knife, broken in half, and then pitted and pedicled; 2. Soak agar in cold water for 5 minutes; 3. Put the hawthorn into the pot, then pour in water, cook for 20 minutes, turn off the fire, and mash the cooked hawthorn into mud with a rolling pin or wooden spoon; 4. Then add sugar and soaked agar and cook for 15 minutes. You should keep stirring, or you won't stick to the ground and cook until it is thick. 5. After turning off the fire and cooling, pour it into a shallow dish. When it is cold, you can cut it into pieces.
