Also known as Pearlescent Fragrant Green, Big Fireweed, Hairy Daughter Grass, Bugloss Grass, Nine-headed Artemisia, Big-leaf Pulsatilla, and Wind-proof Grass

Source: Pearlescent Fragrant Green, a plant of the genus Asteraceae Anaphalis margaritacea (L.) Benth. Et Hook. f, the whole plant or roots are used as medicine. Harvest in spring and summer when the plants are growing vigorously and the flower buds are just blooming, remove the sediment and dry them in the sun.

The nature and flavor are slightly bitter, sweet, and flat.

Functions and Indications: Clearing away heat and detoxifying, dispelling wind and dredging collaterals, and repelling parasites. Used for colds, toothache, dysentery, rheumatic joint pain, ascariasis; external use to treat cuts, bruises, and cervical lymph node tuberculosis.

Usage: 2 to 4 qian; for external use, mash and apply or grind into powder and sprinkle on the affected area.
