Compared with 304 stainless steel, 3 16 stainless steel contains more nickel, chromium and molybdenum, which makes it have better corrosion resistance. The addition of molybdenum makes 3 16 stainless steel have higher corrosion resistance in chloride environment, which is suitable for acidic, alkaline and chloride environments, especially corrosive environments. In addition, 3 16 stainless steel has higher high temperature resistance and is suitable for high temperature environment. In contrast, 304 stainless steel can meet most application requirements in general environment, but it is not as good as 3 16 stainless steel in corrosion and high temperature.
