One day, Ernie was late for school. He ran up to the mountain school and drilled a hole in the fence. He hoped that the president didn't see him.
"Wow!" Ernie sucked in a breath of cold air.
There was a ghost ship floating in the playground. It resembled a regular ship, but it was white and transparent. He knew it couldn't be real.
The ghost ship tied a pitching article. From there emitted a strange light that vibrated up and down as if leading the invisible sea. Ghost seagulls flew about.
"Hey, Ghost Ship!" Ernie shouted bravely.
The ghost's head explored out a window from a yard. "Who said that?" Ghost asked.
"I said!" Ernie said.
"But you weren't supposed to see me, period!" Ghost sucked in a cold breath.
Ghost, then thought for a moment.
"Are you sure you can see me?" Ghost asked.
"Pretty sure." Ernie said. Close
Window slam.
"I'm with a ghost!" Ernie shouted.
The janitor, Ms. Ernie Wiggins, heard the yelling. She went to the playground and ran out.
"I'm talking to a ghost - talking - talking!" Ernie stammered.
"Shh, don't tell anyone." Mr. Wiggins said.
"Why?" Ernie asked.
"I don't want your children to be generally upset!" Mr. Wiggins said.
Ernie said, "But the ghost ship is parked in the playground," he said, "but they'll be seen out for the rest of the day."
"Not everyone can see it." Hopkins' Mr. Wei said.
"Ah, I can see it." Ernie told him.
"So that's two of us." Mr. Wiggins sighed.
The Wiggins Ghost Ship strides in front of the teacher.
"Hey! Ship!" Mr. Wiggins shouted.
Shush and open the window, or screw it.
"Ah! Mr. Wiggins," the ghost said politely.
's "Captain Pigleg!" Mr. Wiggins scolded, "No one can see you except me to assure you, but the child has seen it four times! Not you, Ernie?" "Yes," Ernie said, "I saw it."
"Ah, it can happen, you know," the Captain said, sounding a little nervous, "not very often, but sometimes it happens."
"If someone can see you, so you do not sail here. " said Mr. Wiggins Kam firmly.
"I can't help sail here." The captain told her.
"Why?" Ernie asked.
"I'm the only one on board!" The captain said, "I can't steer the boat alone, so I have to let it drift downwind, I just want it to float here, then I can find my baby." The captain went on to say, "I am doomed to be lost at sea forever, until I cherish, and I know it is here because it is drawn on my map."
"You'd better find this time or else!" Mr. Wiggins warned. Close
Window snaps.
"Ghost treasure!" Ernie says, "Wait a minute, I told this four times!"
2. "We can't see it!"
The group had to wait until break to go to the Ghost Ship. They rushed out of the classroom and onto the playground.
: "There it is!" Ernie yelled, pointing at the Ghost Ship.
Everyone looked closely. They saw the trash cans and the fence, but they couldn't see any ship.
"We can't see it!" Luis said.
"But there are ghost ships!" "Oni described it, looking at it and through it at the same time. Ghost ships are transparent and ambiguous.
"There are no ghost ships here!" Luis said.
The ghost seagull flew down and landed on Luis' head.
"The ghost seagull landed right on your head." Ernie told Louis.
"Oh no, no!" Louis said, he couldn't see or feel it.
"Oh yes it is!" Ernie shouted.
"Oh no, no!" Cried all the people mad.
They laughed at Ernie's seagull and the boat making ghost stories. Then they ran away to play.
Jade, the smartest of the four smallest classes, came over. "What's the ghost ship piece doing here?" She asked Ernie.
"You can see it!" Ernie sucked in a cold breath.
"Of course I can see it." Jade said.
"No one can see it but me and Mr. Wiggins," Ernie said, "It's the captain of the ship Mepig, who was always destined to sail out to sea until he found his lost treasure. He thinks he threw it here. "
"We can help him find the treasure. " said Jade.
"How do we find it?" Ernie asked.
"My dad's book about treasure hunting," Jade said, "We can look in his book and find out what."
"The treasure hunt ghosts start now!" Ernie yelled.
"When we read the book, then we'll start dad!" Jade said.
The bell rang.
"After school!" Jade tells him, "After school, no hanging!"
3. Treasure
After school, they go to Jade's house and get her father's treasure book.
"This is what we do!" Jade said, showing Ernie a page of the book.
"But we can't get anything." Ernie said, pointing to the metal detector.
"My dad," Jade said, "uses him when he's on the beach looking for coins and stuff, that's why he has a book all about treasure hunting."
They went back to school up the hill to the school. Ernie carried a shovel and Jade carried a big bag with a metal detector.
"Captain Pigleg!" Ernie shouted.
The captain was on deck. "It's you again!" Captain Pigleg said, "What will you see me do?"
"Aye." Ernie said.
"We all know you until you find the lost treasure ghost stop sailing." Jade told the captain
"We want to help you find it." Ernie.
"But we are coming to see your map." Jade said.
The map was torn into rags and had many holes.
"Ghost seagulls peck it so!" "I don't know," Piggly Wiggly said.
"It's written with a fork on the map precious," said Jade, "but I can't see any ten"
"Ghost seagulls pecked me ten, I don't remember. "The captain sighed" said Pygmy, "I can't even find a ...... But I'm sure Treasure Island was before it"
"Yes! " replied Jade, her blanket opening her mouth and laughing, "Treasure Island is right here, where we're standing! "
"How do you know?" Ernie asked.
"Look!" Jade said, drawing a map of the captain on the back of her drawing.
"Suddenly this place is the school up the hill!" She told Ernie, "Now our house is at the bottom of where it used to be, many years ago, my father told me."
"We still don't know where to look!" Ernie said, "We'll just have to dig and look for treasure all day."
"We're going to use my dad's metal detector," Jade explains, "which makes a 'bang' sound when the treasure is turned off. "
"If the metal detector po can play it on the ghost! " Ernie muttered.
"Ah, it might play a role," said Jade, "At least we can try."
They were looking from a treasure.
But they didn't find it ...... They looked and looked and looked ...... ......
...... They looked and looked ...... Rereading ......
The metal detector sends out "bang," "bang," "bang"
It's treasure!
They dig up a Captain Piggly Wiggly Ghost filled with gold treasure chests. Ghost gold, so it wouldn't be as heavy as gold and solid. They start using it to move back to the ship.
At least, that's what they started doing. But when they go back to school, the Ghost Treasure Chest starts to fade. Captain Pygmy faded as well.
"Goodbye, Captain Pygmy." Jade whispered.
"Faded Ghost Ship Captain Treasure Mae because we found Piggot." Ernie told Class 4 the next day.
"Ghost ship." Louis said.
"Oh yeah, there is." Ernie shouted.
"Oh no, no." The others shouted.
Somewhere, in some faraway place, ghost seagulls pay. But no one had heard of it, except Ernie. Emerald, and Mr. Wiggins.
