Expansion:

The Winter Solstice in Xinyou is a five-character poem written by Lu You, a writer of the Southern Song Dynasty. In ancient times, every winter solstice, friends and relatives would run around to congratulate each other. In a bustling scene, only the poet's door is cold and quiet, seems very incongruous. And the time flies, the sentiment is empty, the poet has reached the point of "the body old and timid to increase the year", was supported by children and grandchildren to worship ancestors, and then go to bed early, savoring the loneliness and bitterness. In the face of all this, the poet is calm, will be new hope in the spring, expressed the hope that the old have something to do not die out of the heart.
