1, feeding
Crayfish is omnivorous. It likes to eat not only animal bait such as fresh miscellaneous fish, but also plant bait such as soybean, bean cake, corn, fruit and fresh aquatic plants. Family rearing can feed fish, snail, shrimp, watermelon and steamed bread.
Under the condition of ensuring the quality, the daily feeding amount should generally be based on satiety, eating and leaving no residual bait. The water temperature is suitable from July to 1 October, which is the growing season of shrimp, and it should be fed twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Feed 1 time every day in other seasons. Because crayfish mainly eat at night, the feeding amount at night accounts for 70%~80% of the whole day's bait. When the weather is fine, cast more, and when it is hot and muggy, continuous rainy days or the water quality is too strong, cast less; A large number of shrimps throw less when molting, and throw more after molting.
2. Container
Crayfish can be raised in plastic pots, sorting boxes, acrylic or glass fish tanks. Note that the height of the container should not be lower than the body length of crayfish to prevent it from escaping.
3. Environment
If there is a filtering system, it can be arranged to simulate the natural environment, with roots, bamboo tubes, etc. placed for them to climb, and plants such as Eichhornia crassipes and Haematococcus verticillata planted for them to avoid, inhabit and feed, with a water depth of 0.5 meters. If there is no filtration system, it is recommended to raise them in bare tanks and put a small amount of plants. The water depth should be 3~5 cm. Change the water in time when the water quality becomes worse.
4. Quantity
Excessive stocking density of crayfish is easy to cause hypoxia, fighting disability and other phenomena, so the adult crayfish raised at home can have at most one per square decimeter. At the same time, too many males can easily lead to fights, so the ratio of male to female is 3:1.
Lobster grows fast, its metabolism is vigorous, and its oxygen consumption is high. Therefore, the water quality in the shrimp pond should be kept fresh, and water should be added15-20cm deep every week to ensure that the water quality is fresh, clean and cool, and there is enough dissolved oxygen. The transparency of the pond water should be controlled above 35cm. When the weather is overheated, the pond water should be properly deepened to stabilize the water temperature. Strictly prevent water quality from industrial pollution, pesticide pollution and chemical pollution.
