Why is the price of peanuts low?
The price of peanuts is mainly affected by three factors: the purchase volume of oil plants, export orders and domestic market demand.

According to reports, at present, due to the sufficient reserves of oil plants in various places last year and this spring, major oil plants began to stop harvesting peanuts one after another. Moreover, the growth saturation of peanuts is not good this year, and the rice yield has dropped from about 68% in the past to 64% this year, resulting in a decline in oil yield. Therefore, the sluggish demand in oil plants has further suppressed market sentiment, which is one of the important reasons for the current weak peanut price. In addition, affected by the international economic situation, the export orders of Japan and South Korea decreased, so the international demand decreased. Moreover, although there is a certain rigid demand in the domestic market, the situation this year is not as good as in previous years. At present, peanut dealers also hold a wait-and-see attitude towards the price and dare not hoard more goods. Therefore, the willingness to purchase is obviously lower than that of the same period last year, and the enthusiasm for stocking is not high, which leads to weak demand in the domestic market.

Generally speaking, it is a question of market demand.
