White peony

White peony is an important medicine for nourishing and regulating blood, one of the commonly used medicines in gynecology, which has the effects of nourishing liver and blood, regulating liver qi, leveling liver yang, and easing the pain. In the "Medical Enlightenment - Volume II", it is said that white peony is used in six ways: to stabilize the spleen meridian, one; to treat abdominal pain, two; to collect stomach qi, three; to stop diarrhea and dysentery, four; and the blood, five; and to solidify the coupling, six.

White peony is mainly produced in anhui, sichuan, zhejiang, shandong and so on, in anhui boxian, eddying bo peony and sichuan zhongjiang sichuan peony is the most authentic. Effects
Effective in nourishing blood and regulating menstruation, calming the liver and relieving pain, astringing the yin and stopping sweating.
Attention: 1. For irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea and leakage caused by blood deficiency or yin deficiency with heat. 2. For pale face, dizziness and tinnitus caused by deficiency of liver and blood. 3. For headache, pain in dibbs and ribs, abdominal pain, contracture pain in limbs and so on, which are caused by liver qi not being relieved or hyperactivity of liver yang. 4. For yin deficiency with spontaneous sweating (sweating regardless of the time of sleeping and waking up, and not because of exertion, which is known as spontaneous sweating) or night sweating (sweating while sleeping and sweating while waking up, known as night sweating, etc.). 5. Precautions
1. Bai Shao should not be used with Veratrum. 2. It should not be used for abdominal pain, diarrhea, or measles at the early stage of measles when there are superficial symptoms or the penetration of the hair is not unobstructed.
