Step 1, fold a square piece of colored paper edge to edge and a crease appears in the middle. Then fold each of these two sides to the center crease, a new crease appears. Then fold these two sides into the top and bottom folds to create new creases.

Step 2: Turn the paper over and fold the top and bottom edges into the center crease to create a new crease. That is, the square of colored paper is evenly divided into eight equal parts. Fold the square in half again along the center crease, then fold each of the two corners of the folded edge toward the first crease on top, and press the crease in the top two squares.

Step 3: Then fold the other opposite side of the square of colored paper in half, a crease appears in the middle, and then fold these two sides to the middle crease, a new crease appears. Then fold these two edges towards the crease just made and a new crease appears. Fold the bottom edge toward the center crease and press the crease in the first frame, and do the same with the top edge.

Step 4: Fold the top and bottom sides to the center crease, then fold the left and right sides to the front crease. Fold the left and right sides inward along the second crease, and then fold each of the four corners of the center toward the first crease on the outside.

Step 5: Fold the two sides of the center outward along the first crease, and then hold the middle colored paper open along the crease. Then fold the top and bottom sides inward along the crease and fold the sides inward a bit to make it easier for the next step.

Step 6, and then the left and right sides of the colorful paper together, and then the four corners of the middle of the upper and lower sides of the colorful paper tucked into the paper layer, so that the homemade cake box is presented in front of us.
