Photographer Matthew Sullivan used clusters of small white barnacles on the bottle mouth to illuminate them with frequent flashlights to frame the shy fish. Judge Alex Mustard commented on the photographer's result of "cleaning up a chaotic scene into a vivid and powerful portrait". The photographer won an award in the macro category of the competition.
Female pilot whales and dead calves
(Eduardo Acevedo /UPY 20 19) is heartbreaking. The female navigator protected her dead calf in the waters near the Canary Islands for several days, showing unusual behavior in the animal kingdom. Photographer Eduardo Acevado won a high praise award in the behavioral category.
The final love bill "KDSP" (Pekka Tuuri/UPY 2065438+09) "KDSP" was in Lu Couperot Creek in Espoo, Finland, and photographer Pekka Tuuri found the location where lamprey laid eggs. Toury won an award in the behavior category of the competition. Male Argo heroes usually rely on jellyfish to resist predators. Photographer Song Dacai won the Behavior Award in the 20 19 Underwater Photography Competition.
Divers are familiar with the glowing KDSP's so-called "Shaun the Bare-legged Sheep" (ManBD/UPY 20 19+09). Photographer Man Bd illuminates individuals from below to gain a unique perspective on soft marine life. This creative photo won the second place as a compact photographer.
The grass snake (Jack Perks/UPY 20 19) swimming along the garden pond won the second place in the wide-angle category in British waters, and the photographer Jack Perks was in the water of the garden pond.
King Arthur /UPY 20 19 Photographer King Arthur came across a lobster guarding his artificial home. The plastic pipe is decorated with exquisite anemone and there are several Brittany in it. Judge Martin Archie called this photo "the best isolated lighting". Kington won the highest prize in the British waters category in the competition.
The camouflage of the portrait of the sea dragon (Kirsty Andrews /UPY 20 19) provides some protected waters for the larger sea dragon (the sharp sea dragon) in the mud. When disturbed, snakes freeze and wait for threats to retreat. Photographer Kirsty Andrews won a highly acclaimed award in Britain. Andrews took a photo when the anglerfish was frozen for a long time in the macro race in H waters.
Paul Petit /UPY 2065 438+09 09 44 On April 28th, a top secret rehearsal of D-Day landing in British waters made a terrible mistake, and several Valentin tanks were sent to Dorset Bay at the bottom of Stateland, England. Photographer Paul Petit has been taking pictures of marine life in this place for months. These marine life now call this water tank their home. Petit won the third place in the category of cohabitation in British waters in the 20 19 underwater photography contest.
