Methods and techniques of grafting fruit trees
First, timely grafting

Generally, low-level grafting is carried out in spring, summer and autumn, and the selected scion branches should be fully aged and lignified before the branches sprout in spring and after the branches are aged in summer and autumn. Because the age and rootstock of the replanted trees are relatively large, the diameter of the scion should be 0.5 cm to 1 cm, otherwise the survival will be affected.

Second, the grafting method

First, the replanted rootstock is sawed off 20 cm to 30 cm from the ground, and the head of the rootstock is leveled with a sharp grafting knife. On the cutting plane, the joint with a length of 3 cm is cut down to the xylem, and the number of connected tree heads is determined according to the size of the rootstock. The rootstock with a diameter of 3 cm to 5 cm must be grafted with three branches, and the distribution should be uniform. The length of the scion used is 5cm, and there are more than five bud eyes. Cut the lower part of the scion obliquely from 1 cm, and then cut off the epidermis at the back of the scion 2.5cm, reaching the xylem. Then, cut the scion into an anvil pile and aim at the cambium on one side. Fix the scion after cutting, spray a new high-fat film to prevent the invasion of germs, and wrap the right hand with a grafted agricultural film strip with a width of 4 cm from bottom to top, wrap the anvil pile head and then wrap the scion.

Third, post-grafting management

After grafting, the pesticide is sprayed with 800 times solution of new high-fat film to prevent insects and ants from biting through the agricultural film, and farm manure water 10 kg to 15 kg is sprayed on each rootstock tree, and then it is combined with loosening soil and weeding every 15 days 1 time, and at the same time, the 800 times solution of new high-fat film is used together to improve the utilization rate of effective components of the pesticide. A large number of "wild buds" will appear at the root of the rootstock about 10 day after grafting, which should be erased in time. In the budding stage and leaf spreading stage of the scion, the mixture of insecticide, acaricide and disease-preventing drugs was sprayed for 2 to 3 times respectively. When the shoot length of each batch is 10 cm to 15 cm, it should be topped to promote multi-branch after aging.
