During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Dr. Chen Gongshi wrote a book "The Authenticity of Surgery", which described several kinds of cancers. Its chapter on breast carbuncle specifically describes breast cancer, which is called milk rock. He described the characteristics of Ru Yan, and pointed out that early breast cancer needs to be blistered on the skin by moxibustion, and then punctured with popsicles to kill cancer cells. Among the cases he collected, Ru Yan is the four deadliest. If he meets it, he will die. Cancer mentioned by the general public refers to cancer, sarcoma and a few malignant tumors mentioned by western medicine. They are all malignant tumors, except that different cancers originated from epithelial tissues and sarcomas originated from mesenchymal tissues, but there are also a few malignant tumors that are not named according to the above principles, such as nephroblastoma and malignant teratoma.
But there are also records of malignant tumors in Chinese medicine. After the word tumor appeared in Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Shang Dynasty, swelling appeared in the rites of Zhou Dynasty, which was first called cancer in Wei Jibao's book in Song Dynasty. But these basically refer to tumors. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that foreign bodies grow in human body, which is nothing more than phlegm accumulation, blood stasis, qi stagnation and damp evil, but the patient's own state is quite different. Although the same foreign body is different, the state of people is different, and the medicine used is naturally different. Many Chinese medicine methods for treating cancer are case reports. Some people questioned why we didn't apply for the Nobel Prize and popularize this method since the cancer was cured. This is to look at Chinese medicine from the perspective of western medicine. Cancer is a serious disease in western medicine, which should be treated in a similar way.
However, Chinese medicine believes that this patient is phlegm and blood stasis, and the other patient is deficiency of both qi and blood. How can this treatment be interlinked, and how can it be promoted just to let everyone know the essence behind the disease? A disease may have different names in Chinese medicine and western medicine, but the patients are the same. Chinese and western medicine stand in different angles and look at the same problem from different angles, which is a common manifestation of cancer. It is impossible for Chinese and western medicine to pretend that the lump is invisible and grows in different places. Chinese medicine has different names. For example, the thyroid part is called gallstones. Of course, scabies also include some thyroid cancers, and some are what Chinese medicine calls cancers, but they are not the same.
