Thanksgiving is not the same date every year

Thanksgiving was first created by the United States. Its original intention was to thank the Indians. Later, people often used this day to thank others. Since 1941, Thanksgiving has been celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November every year. Canadian Thanksgiving began in 1879 and is celebrated on the second Monday of October.
