Nine-node shrimp is freshwater shrimp. Nine-section shrimp, also known as tiger-spotted shrimp, is mostly produced in southern Fujian. Although it has the word sea in its name, it mainly lives in salty and fresh water environments, such as rivers, lakes and ponds. Nine-node shrimp grows in salty and fresh water environment, and the water is rich in plankton and oxygen, which makes the meat of nine-node shrimp delicious and crisp. Therefore, nine-node shrimp is classified as freshwater shrimp.
