The original "Journey to the West", the author of the Huaguo Mountain Waterfall Cave originally refers to the present-day Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, Huaguo Mountain scenic area. Later, because the TV version was filmed in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, Huangguoshu Waterfalls, the relationship between the water behind the cave was named Waterfall Cave, so Waterfall Cave also refers to the Huangguoshu Waterfalls located in Anshun City, Guizhou Province.
Halfway up Huaguo Mountain in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, which used to be a vast ocean in ancient times and was formed in the Ming Dynasty to its present size, is famous overseas for The Journey to the West. It was this Waterfall Cave that inspired Wu Cheng'en to give the early Monkey King a very mythological place to move around in Journey to the West. Zhang Chaorui, a native of Haizhou in the Ming Dynasty, wrote in a tablet for the Sanyuan Palace that the Waterfall Cave was a must-visit spot for visitors. The stone wall on the four big words, is the Haizhou governor Wang Tong inscription, when the Ming Jiajing 23 years (1544 AD), when the Journey to the West has not been published.
Huangguoshu Falls was named the world's largest waterfalls in 1999 by the Guinness World Headquarters, included in the world Guinness Book of Records. It is also a popular tourist destination that most people will choose today.
