Why is Jackie Chan's movie called "Red Zone"?
The main setting of "Red Zone" is in Los Angeles, which used to be a reservation for North American Indians. Ancient Chinese used to call the uncivilized people "fan", "yi", "barbarians", because of the color of the skin of the North American Indians. Because the skin color of the North American Indians was slightly reddish, the Chinese who immigrated to Los Angeles at the end of the Qing Dynasty called the North American Indians "Red Fans", which gave rise to this title.
