Why did Huang Paoguai turn Tang Priest into a tiger? Is there a moral?
Never meet without reason, and never leave without reason.

Everyone who appears in your life should appear. However, some are good and some are bad.

Cause and effect in a grain of rice

Take the Tang Priest as an example. The eighty-first time in The Journey to the West, Tang Priest caught a bad cold. Then call Wukong and tell him to write a letter to Emperor Taizong and send Wukong to Chang 'an. Wondering, Wukong asked, What are you writing? The Tang Priest said that he was grateful to His Majesty the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty for his kindness, but now he is very ill and dying. He said goodbye to Taizong. By the way, tell the emperor that the task of getting the scriptures can't be completed.

Wukong smiled when he said this. Because life and death are the responsibility of the prince, if you want to arrest Tang Priest, ask me first if I agree or not.

In fact, Tang Yan's three-day cold has a cause and effect.

Wukong explained this to Bajie: You don't know that the master didn't listen to the Buddha's teachings, so he took a nap and fell down, leaving a grain of rice under his left foot. He should have been ill for three days.

Do you see it? While listening to the Buddha, Tang Priest pushed a grain of rice out of bounds because of his nap! So there was a cold disaster in these three days.

The rice here is expensive enough. What brand is it? By the way, it is the legendary "weeding at noon, sweat dripping down the soil, but every grain of rice is hard" brand rice!

This is not a random grab. That's what the original Journey to the West said.

Brother, the Buddha doesn't care about you, Monkey said. You don't know, it's noon when people mow the grass, and sweat drips down the soil. Who knows every grain of Chinese food is hard! Master, today is just one day, and tomorrow will be fine.

This seems to be an accident. That's not true.

Imagine, how did Wukong know that Tang Priest stepped on a grain of rice?

I remember the Buddha once said when he distinguished the true from the false Wukong:

There are four monkeys in the mixed world, which do not belong to ten categories. The first one is Ling Ming boulder, who knows the changes, weather, location and stars. The second is the red horse monkey, who knows yin and yang, knows people, is good at going in and out, and avoids death and prolongs life. The third is the armless ape, taking the sun and the moon, shrinking the mountain of money, distinguishing the blame, and being silent. The fourth is Liu Er's macaque, who is good at listening and understanding. These four monkeys do not belong to ten categories, nor can they reach the name of two rooms.

Look carefully, among the four monkeys in the mixed world, only Liu Er, a macaque, knows about it. Then, through the example of the cause and effect of Tang Priest's cold, we find that Ling Ming boulder and the Monkey King also knew it before and after.

This example also tells us that everything has a cause and effect. When it rains, people will suffer. Major disasters and minor disasters.

So, don't waste a grain of rice or a drop of water at will.

Knowing this truth, we can analyze why Tang Priest became a tiger.

Why was Tang Priest turned into a tiger?

The name of the thirtieth journey to the west is: evil spirits invade the law, and Ma Ji Xin Ape.

In this episode, Huang Paoguai, the incarnation of Kuimu Wolf, turns Tang Yan into a tiger. It was not until the Monkey King, who was driven away, came back that the magic of Kuimu Wolf was lifted.

In our impression, the tiger is the king of the mountains. But strangely, in the whole Journey to the West, all tigers are walk-ons. However, the first difficult demon of Tang Priest is a tiger spirit-General Yin.

Let's briefly analyze the difference between General Yin and others. He was the first demon who appeared when Tang Priest learned the scriptures. He also speaks human language and has two monster friends. At this time, Tang Priest had only two mortal disciples, so he wanted to eat Tang Priest, and there was really no burden at all.

Because we see that the future monsters are afraid to eat the Tang Priest because they are afraid that the Monkey King will find you.

But this general Yin, first of all, didn't know that he would live forever if he ate the flesh of Tang Priest. Secondly, he only ate two disciples of Tang Priest.

Then, we can think that the reason why General Yin didn't eat Tang Priest was a mistake. It can also be understood that this is the fate of Tang Priest.

But in any case, it is a fact that General Yin didn't hurt Tang Priest.

Therefore, to put it another way, General Yin is the first demon of Tang Priest who needs to be grateful. Although General Yin is really not a good demon (because he ate two disciples of Tang Priest).

Later, with the help of Taibai Venus, Tang Priest escaped from General Yin's lair. But it was in danger immediately. Suddenly I saw the poisonous insect escape and the monster beast flew away; Tigers lurk, long snakes lurk

You see, as soon as the Tang priest came out of the tiger's den, he met a new tiger.

At this time, Zhenshan Taibao Liu Boqin appeared.

When Liu Boqin appeared, all these poisonous insects and wild animals were scared away. But here's a detail. Before the arrival of Liu Boqin, poisonous insects and wild animals didn't hurt Tang Priest.

When Liu Boqin was leading the Tang Priest forward, he met a gorgeous tiger.

Still afraid of Liu Boqin, the tiger turned away and was overtaken by Liu Boqin. The tiger was killed in a fight. Liu Boqin also told Tang Priest that he would use this tiger to treat the elders.

On this road, it is already the third tiger.

After that, the Monkey King was saved in the two boundary mountains. The Monkey King also killed a tiger, made a tiger skin skirt, and went to the Western Heaven to learn from it.

Wukong killed the fourth tiger.

Well, we can see that all the tigers we met along the way, although intimidating the Tang Priest, did not cause him any substantial harm. However, the Tang Priest did not ask for love from any of them.

Throughout the Journey to the West, Tang Priest had sex with many monsters, such as Bai, Hong Haier, rat poison, Silver Horn King and so on.

Of course, the Tang priest's intercession for these monsters has a common feature, that is, they have all become people. In other words, the Tang Priest just showed mercy to "people". For these animals or plants, he thinks they are inferior.

This is actually separation. It is also the difference between Mahayana and Hinayana.

Mahayana emphasizes "the equality of all beings".

So here in Tang Priest, in fact, he always put "humanoid" creatures in the first place in his heart.

In fact, many "humanoid" clothes are actually demons, and Wukong can see it clearly. But the Tang Priest couldn't see clearly, so this is also the focus of his contradiction with Wukong all the way.

Knowing this difference, we can explain the significance of what Tang Priest did in Liu Boqin's house.

What is the difference between Mahayana Sutra and Hinayana Sutra?

I remember, when Guanyin Bodhisattva went to Datang, she said that my Buddha had Mahayana Sutra and Sanzang could cross over ghosts. So the question is coming? Can't Tang Priest learn Hinayana Sutra before? Actually, it's not like this.

Tang Priest is at home, just catching up with his father, Ji Ji, the next day. Therefore, the Tang Priest recited the scriptures for him. Tang Priest read many classics, including the Diamond Sutra and the Goblet of Fire.

As we know, at the end of the trip to Dalei Temple in the Western Heaven, Ye Jia Anan taught them the scriptures in words, including one volume of Diamond Sutra and ten volumes of goblet of fire.

Let's see, are these two versions Confucian classics? Personally, I think it should be the same as the scriptures that Tang Priest is reading at the moment.

Because, after the Tang priest finished reading these scriptures, it will take effect immediately. Liu Boqin's father gave them a dream that he would live in a rich family.

This little incident just illustrates a big truth.

Whether we can go beyond the sky or not, scripture itself is not the first. Moreover, this person who recites the scriptures is still very important. In this way, it is not difficult for us to understand why there are wordless scriptures in Leiyin Temple. Scripture without words is not useless, but it needs some wisdom to understand.

Then, since the Mahayana Sutra of the Tang Priest can transcend heaven, why did he go to the Radeyin Temple in Qian Shan? Because, first of all, he has to get rid of separation.

Again, it's not necessarily people who become people, and monsters without human forms don't necessarily hurt people for no reason.

Just like these tigers, Tang Priest didn't provoke them, and they didn't hurt Tang Priest.

In other words, "people are harmless to Tigerheart, and tigers are harmless to people." .

Having said that, why did he become a tiger? Because he has no sympathy for these tigers who didn't hurt him.

As we said at the beginning, the punishment for wasting a grain of rice and catching a cold for three days is the same. Because Tang Yan had no sympathy for tigers, he was later turned into a tiger by Kuimu Wolf. Let him understand what it's like to be a tiger in prison from the perspective of a tiger.

Therefore, we can see that the sky is clear and the sky is clear. What an idea, heaven and earth perception. An evil thought will make heaven and earth care.

So when it comes to this concept, reading is faith.

Although the Tang Priest came all the way from the Tang Dynasty, without magic, he cried when he was in trouble, but his belief was firm. This, or from Liu Boqin's home.

Is Liu Boqin a good man or a bad man in Tang Priest's eyes?

After Liu Boqin killed the tiger and saved the Tang Priest, he took the Tang Priest to his home.

In the book, I saw three or four pieces of furniture, all grotesque and ugly, dragging their feet and carrying a tiger in. You see, the word "grotesque" is actually the impression of Liu Boqin's children in Tang Priest's eyes.

After that, it's time to eat. Elder Tang trembled and starved all the way, and finally he was safe. However, because Liu Boqin is Orion, he doesn't have a vegetarian spatula at home.

Liu Boqin will treat Tang Priest with tiger meat. Tang Priest said that he was a vegetarian since childhood and dared not break the precepts.

At this time, Liu Boqin was unhappy. He said, Emotion, did I save you from the jaws of death? What if I starve to death?

Tang Priest said: It is better to feed the tiger if you starve to death.

This sentence is the lesser of two evils. If you must die, starving to death should be better than feeding tigers. In this place, Tang Priest's firm belief is reflected. He still has a bottom line, and the bottom line is that he will never break the rules at any time.

Being able to stick to principles like this is what makes Tang Priest different.

Fortunately, Liu Boqin's mother relieved them.

The old lady asked her daughter-in-law to take down the small pot, put it on the fire, brushed it, washed it, and sat on the stove. Don't use half a pot of boiling water first, but boil some elm leaves in water to make tea soup, then cook some millet, cook some dried vegetables, hold two bowls, take them out and spread them on the table. The old mother said to Sanzang, "Elder, please fast. This is some very clean tea and rice prepared by the old woman and her daughter-in-law. "

Tang Priest is lucky to meet Liu Boqin's mother.

Speaking of which, I am reminded of the story of a monk who was contemporary with Tang Priest. He is Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen. Huineng once lived with hunters for fifteen years. At that time, there was no clean vegetable spatula, so Huineng could only eat vegetables by the pot. Compared with Tang Priest's insistence, Huineng is actually another form of persistence. Because he shoulders the heavy responsibility of inheriting the mantle of the five ancestors, although he is different from these hunters, it is not wise to starve himself, but pedantic.

Comparing Tang Yan and Huineng, both of them tried their best to defend their beliefs and beliefs. Therefore, there is no distinction between high and low.

Then, after analyzing the behavior of the two eminent monks, let's look at the Tang Priest. What does he think of Liu Boqin?

First of all, Liu Boqin is definitely not a kindred spirit with himself, and we can know a thing or two from his ugly image of Liu Boqin.

As the saying goes, phase is born of heart, and what kind of phase reflects what kind of heart. Therefore, in the eyes of Tang Priest, Liu Boqin is not a strongman, but at least a murderer.

But even so, Tang Priest will turn over to be Liu Boqin's father. This just reflects the great wisdom of Tang Priest. I want to put down my bergamot and calm my heart. On the issue of treating people and things, there is no difference between Buddha and Buddha, and all beings are equal. The Tang Priest is a generation of eminent monks.

At this point, it should have been finished. Do you always feel a little unfinished?

By the way, why can't the tiger be the big boss, and General Yin is the first to appear? Because here, there is a secret that has been hidden for thousands of years. Let's call it the journey to the west hidden mode for the time being.

As the saying goes, "Zhuang Zhoumeng becomes a butterfly, and Lv Wang flies a bear".

This tiger is trained to have wings, and it is called flying bear. Everyone knows this name, right? Yes, flying bear is the name of Jiang Ziya, the god of gods. It's terrible to mention the origin of this flying bear.

Usually, a star corresponds to a god.

For example, the Kuimu Wolf is a Kuixing and the Pleiadian Chicken is a Pleiadian, but what about flying bear? He is not a star, but the whole Ursa major. Including gold, wood, water, fire, earth, five virtues, Xing Jun, Wenquxing, Wu Quxing, thirty-six highest day stars and seventy-two earth stars, he is a group of stars.

Then Jiang Ziya is such a great god, and it is no exaggeration to be called the God of the Gods.

Because of this, the tiger in Journey to the West can't be a big boss (neither the tiger pioneer nor the tiger force fairy are really powerful people), because they want to avoid Jiang Ziya's taboos.

But because Jiang Ziya is the god of all gods, he chose a general Yin to appear first to show his respect for the squire.

Let's take another look. General Yin has two good friends. One is Xiong Jing, which means homophonic hero. One is Chu Shi, a cow.

Together, it is: General Yin is a real hero! Especially awesome!
