The red shrimp’s scientific name is Penaeus sinensis, also known as Penaeus short groove, eagle claw shrimp, erect shrimp, etc., and belongs to the genus Penaeus sinensis. The body length is 50 to 90 mm, and the weight is 1.5 to 9.0 grams. The body is red, and the posterior edge of the 1st to 6th abdominal segments is thicker in color and appears as a bright red band. The head and chest armor are large and easy to fall off. Red shrimp is distributed in the East China Sea, southern Yellow Sea and South China Sea in my country, and is the dominant species in Zhejiang's offshore resources.
