1. Soil
Osmanthus is suitable for growth in loose fertile slightly acidic soil, you can use rotting soil, garden soil, river sand, cake fertilizer, in accordance with the ratio of 2:3:3:2 mixed evenly as a culture soil.
2. Light
Osmanthus loves sunshine and can receive light all day long. In the high temperature of summer, it needs to be maintained in the shade. Pre-flowering needs to be exposed to enough sunlight to promote the differentiation of flower buds.
3. Watering
Osmanthus flowers like moisture, can be watered regularly, but avoid stagnant water, soil drying water in a timely manner, watering should be watered thoroughly.
4. Fertilization
Osmanthus can be fertilized every 15-30 days during the growing period, mainly liquid fertilizer. Phosphorus and potassium fertilizer before and after flowering, supplemental nutrients.
Two, notes
1. After the flowering of osmanthus, residual flowers need to be removed, and excess branches should be cut off. For osmanthus withered branches, diseased branches, thin and weak branches should also be pruned in time to facilitate the growth of osmanthus.
2. Osmanthus is not suitable for growth in low-temperature environments, the northern winter is relatively cold, osmanthus wintering needs to be wrapped in film trunks to prevent the plant from freezing.
