Second, add fermenting bacteria. 1 kg Gymboree fertilizer starter can ferment 1 ~ 2 tons of bean cake, and organic materials such as cow dung or straw powder, mushroom residue, peanut shell powder, rice husk and sawdust can be added according to the weight ratio to adjust the ventilation rate.
Third, adjust the water. The moisture content of fermented materials should be controlled at about 65%. When transferring water, pay attention to adding less water first, and then add it slowly when it is close to the requirements to prevent the water from exceeding the standard. If the water content exceeds the standard, dry materials can be added for adjustment. Method for judging the moisture content of 65% raw materials: Hold the material tightly with your hands, and it will disperse when it touches the ground without dripping.
Fourth, build a pile for fermentation. After preparing the materials, spread out the pile of bacteria. The height and volume of the heap should not be too short or too small. The height and width of the pile are required to be 1.2 ~ 1.5m, and the length can be freely adjusted according to the amount of fermented materials, at least not less than 2m (in the process of piling, if the water content of the materials is insufficient, it can be appropriately adjusted by adding water).
