This is a physical phenomenon. The temperature of the ice cream just taken out is relatively low, while the surrounding temperature is relatively high, so it will make the water vapor around the ice cream liquefy instantly and turn into liquid droplets which is what you call white gas. Note

Water vapor is a gas and cannot be seen. The white substance you see is condensed water droplets, which are liquid!
