One 6-inch round mold with a flat bottom
How to make a rim cake ?
Line the mold with greaseproof paper, bottom and all around.
Sift together the cocoa powder and the chocolate and the butter and melt in hot water, mix well.
Add brown sugar, mix well, brown sugar melting.
Pour in the warm water, continue to stir, at first the water and chocolate show separation, with a hand mixer repeatedly, the two gradually melted into one, appeared glossy.
Crack an egg in 5 and mix well.
Sift in the powder and continue mixing in circles with the hand mixer.
The batter ends up fine and glossy, with barely visible air bubbles.
Fill the mold with the cake batter in several layers. One layer of batter, one layer of cake with sides. The edges float in the batter, pressing them down.
180 degrees, 25 minutes.
Cool at room temperature. Refrigerate overnight.
