Dalian Food Network (exploring the most authentic food culture in Dalian)
As an important city in the northeast of China, Dalian has a rich food culture. From seafood to barbecue, from snacks to big meals, there are many kinds of delicious food in Dalian, which makes people overwhelmed. In order to better understand Dalian's food culture, we specially came to Dalian Food Network to explore the most authentic food culture in Dalian.

First stop: snacks in Laojie, Zhongshan District

The old street in Zhongshan District is one of the oldest commercial streets in Dalian. There are many snack bars with decades of history, which are important representatives of Dalian's food culture. When I came here, the first thing I tried was the old-fashioned "Zhang Ruiji" kebab. The kebabs here are made of local beef and mutton with special seasonings. They are delicious and memorable.

Next, we came to the "Tiger Beach Barbecue" store. The kebabs here are very special, not only traditional beef and mutton, but also seafood and vegetables to choose from. We tasted a seafood kebab, and the delicious taste made people linger.

Second stop: Xinghai Plaza seafood food stall

Xinghai Square is a famous scenic spot in Dalian, where seafood stalls are also an important part of Dalian's food culture. We came here and ordered a hairy crab and a grilled fish. The delicious meat quality and rich paste of hairy crabs are very enjoyable, while the grilled fish is crispy and delicious, and it tastes better with special sauce.

Third stop: Xigangqu hot spicy dip

Mala Tang is a traditional snack in Dalian, which is famous for its spicy taste. We went to a mala Tang restaurant in Xigang District and ordered a beef mala Tang and a duck blood mala Tang. The spicy soup base here is made of local specialty kelp and persimmon pepper, which is rich in flavor and mouth-watering. With fresh beef and duck blood, it is even more appetizing.

Fourth stop: Korean cuisine in Shahekou District.

Dalian is also rich in Korean food culture. We went to a Korean restaurant in Shahekou District and tasted local bibimbap and fried chicken. Bibimbap is made of local high-quality rice and various vegetables, served with barbecue and sauce, and tastes delicious. Fried chicken is golden and crisp, with special sauce, which makes people have an appetite.
