What color is cherry blossom
Alias mountain cherry, Fukushima cherry, green skin cherry and so on. Belongs to the Rosaceae family, deciduous tree. The bark is purple-brown, smooth and glossy, with transverse lines. Leaves alternate, elliptic or obovate-elliptic, margin with awn teeth, apex pointed and glandular, surface dark green, glossy, abaxial surface slightly pale. Stipules lanceolate-linear, margin finely lobed serrate, lobed end glandular. Flowers three or five per branch, in umbels, sepals horizontally spreading, petal apex notched, white, red. The flowers are placed with or after the leaves in March. Nucleus globose, at first red, then turning purple-brown, ripening in July.
