Differences in Characteristics: The Sesame Swordfish's body is covered with black spots. This fish lives in smaller gutters, mostly in fast-flowing rocky waters. The catfish has an elongated body with a flat head and a laterally flattened tail. The mouth is inferior, with a small slit that ends just below the front edge of the eye. The lower jaw is prominent. The interdental teeth are fine, fuzzy, and both the maxillary and pearly teeth are arranged in a curved band, with a continuous band of pearly teeth and a slightly concave central posterior margin.
Catfish mainly live in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, pits and ponds in the middle and lower levels, mostly in the littoral zone, more hidden in the daytime in the grass, under the rocks or deep water bottom, night feeding activities are frequent.
