English name: Yellow cartfish. Widely distributed in the Pacific water system in eastern China. Living in still water or slow-flowing shallows, not sleeping during the day and coming out at night. Body length 123- 143mm, omnivorous. Its main food is benthic invertebrates, and its food is mostly small fish, aquatic insects and other small aquatic animals. April-May spawning, parent fish have the habit of digging holes and nesting to protect their offspring. During the reproductive period, males have the habit of nesting.
