Sexually transmitted diseases are a group of diseases whose main mode of transmission is sexual contact. More than 20 kinds of infectious diseases caused by sexual behavior or similar sexual behavior are listed in the category of sexually transmitted diseases internationally. Common sexually transmitted diseases are gonorrhea, syphilis, nongonococcal urethritis, condyloma acuminatum, mycoplasma trachomatis, chancre, genital herpes, trichomoniasis, hepatitis B and AIDS. Among them, syphilis, gonorrhea, genital herpes, condyloma acuminatum, chancre, nongonococcal urethritis, sexually transmitted lymphogranuloma and AIDS are listed as key sexually transmitted diseases in China.

The most common symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases:

Chlamydia: abnormal excrement, pain in urination, pain in the lower abdomen or pain during sexual intercourse.

② Human papillomavirus: Symptoms: Condyloma can be born in vulva, vagina, cervix, anus and even pharynx.

③ Genital herpes: It begins with pruritus and burning pain in pudendal region, thighs or buttocks. Then, there will be obvious ulcers in vulva, buttocks, anus or other parts of the body. These wounds will heal in a few weeks, but for most people, the disease will recur. Herpes cannot be cured.

④ Trichomoniasis: discomfort during sexual intercourse, pain in urination, and odor in vagina.

⑤ Syphilis: Painless ulcer appears in pudendal region, usually starting from 10 day to 3 months after infection.
