Jiuzhaigou is located in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou County, is the upper reaches of Baishui Gully White River branch of the ditch, in order to nine Tibetan villages (so also known as the He Medicine Jiuzhai) and named. The language, dress and customs of the Tibetans here are obviously different from those of their neighbors. According to evidence, their ancestors originally lived in Gansu's Maqu, belonging to a tough tribe at the foot of the Aniqing Mountains, and stayed on the banks of the Baishui River with Songtsen Gampo's eastern expedition to Songzhou. Jiuzhaigou is more than 40 kilometers deep, with a total area of more than 60,000 hectares, and three main ditches forming a Y-shaped distribution, totaling more than 60 kilometers in length.
