The pufferfish, a collective name for the fish of the family Scleractinia triggerfish, is commonly known as the pufferfish. (Note: The name pufferfish is an error, but is widely used, and pufferfish can also refer to a freshwater mammal.) Since ancient times, the puffer fish eaten in China has been found in rivers, and was named the "river dolphin" because it makes a chirping sound similar to that of a pig when it is caught out of the water. There are also "bubble fish", "blowing belly fish", "puffer fish", "puffer fish", "air drum fish "(Jiangsu, Zhejiang), "good fish, chicken bubble" (Guangdong), "chicken hold" (Guangdong), "turtle fish" (Guangxi), "Street Fish" (read in Southern Fujianese) (Fujian), "Wax Head" (Hebei), "boat chasing fish" and other names. In ancient times, it was called "lung fish".

The river herring is a warm temperate and tropical offshore demersal fish, inhabiting the middle and lower layers of the ocean, there are a few species into the freshwater rivers, when encountering external dangers to make the whole body in the shape of a ball floating to the surface of the water, and at the same time the skin on the small spines up, to take advantage of self-defense.
