Fish meal refers to a high-protein feed material made from one or more kinds of fish by degreasing, dehydration and crushing. Fish meal, as the main source of animal protein feed, has the characteristics of high protein and fat, and is rich in trace elements such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc and selenium. Aquatic products, chickens, ducks, pigs and special farming are all inseparable from fish meal feed.

China is a big importer of fish meal, so many enterprises rely on imports, but they need to have many qualifications when importing, as follows:

Overseas suppliers of imported fishmeal must apply for feed registration certificate in the Ministry of Agriculture (MARA).

It is also necessary to apply to the General Administration of Customs for a list of imported feed from overseas enterprises.

Domestic enterprises can go through relevant inspection and quarantine procedures.
